STANDEECO Inc. are consist of group of ABM students. They were given a project to help our environment by this product in making it innovative and eco-friendly.

Our present reality has an serious issue in massive cutting of the trees to make things out of it. Regular picture outlines are made out of woods. As they notice that many people like taking pictures, to capture every memories they have ang keep it as a remembrance, so they come up in making a picture standee or holder for that picture using some eco-friendly materials like plastic bottles, paperclip, popsicles, newspapers, and especially cement.

Review

The product was related to passion or blog traveling by taking pictures, I am a type of person who really keeps my memories in everywhere I go. I always put it and compile it in one photo album. In fact, I want to try to put it on the standee, it’s very cute though. We have this saying that “A picture is worth a thousand words” means in a picture there is a lot of memories and complex ideas by one image. I am a photographer wherever I go I take pictures of all kinds of things. I take pictures of random things. When I learned my love for traveling I got so many things out of it. I got memories that will last a life time. Without photography I wouldn’t know what to do. I have thousands of pictures on my device I have pictures hanging up on my walls to remind me of things that have happened.

The product was related to present issues problem by Improper waste disposal is one of the biggest environmental issues here in the Philippines. It caused bigger problems that affect not only the environment but also the health and life of the people. This problem may be resolve or it will remain problem to the country in the next few years. Mismanagement of the waste disposal has a serious effect on ground and surface water contamination, flooding, air pollution, water pollution etc. People will suffer in the next years of existence if we continue this kind of activity. They make those product to lessen the wastes in our community and to help our environment by recycling it using eco-friendly materials.

The product was related to my life experiences, feelings and ideas by I was lucky to have had such a close family growing up because being an only child, I often got to be a little lonely. That caused me to more closely to my cousins. I was particularly close to one. Nick. Nick. and I grew up together. Living just right next door to each other, he was pretty much my very first best friend. We were almost nine months apart, and we did everything together. We went to school together and we were in the same class. We learned how to ride four-wheelers together and graduated from high school together. We experienced so much, and have plenty of pictures to prove it. picture can tell a story. It can tell you something about someone, it can show you the meaning of something, it can capture peoples feeling, it can capture a memory. A picture is something you can keep forever. A picture can be set up and posed or just a random picture. Pictures are what make up the world. Without pictures we wouldn’t have television, magazines, newspapers, movies. All those things take pictures.

The product increase my understanding of the topic by if I were to take a room filled entirely with people and ask them to write about something that holds value to them, what would it be? To some, the word “value” means something that holds only a monetary value, something that can be bought and sold. The values that I am referring to are the values that an individual cannot place a price tag on. They are of special significance that hold a special meaning to us deep down in our hearts. They are the things that are ever reminding us of the people that we are, and the people that we want to be. When I think of the word “value” I often think of love and family. I think about the importance of the gift of life, and just how very special it truly is.

Yes, i would recommend this product to them, by buying it, specially they can contribute a very big help to solve our environment’s issues and at the same time they can keep it and value their memories seeing it in the standees.

To sum it up, buying this product can be helpful to our enironment, picture can tell a story. It can tell you something about someone, it can show you the meaning of something, it can capture peoples feeling, it can capture a memory, saying that “A picture is worth a thousand words” means in a picture there is a lot of memories and complex ideas by one image.Mismanagement of the waste disposal has a serious effect. People will suffer in the next years of existence if we continue this kind of activity.

“Our roleplay presentation in selling our product to customers”

My insights about our roleplay presentation earlier in selling our product to customers was the possible challenges that we will facing on how to market our product. So the challenges are the customers might not interested at our product so you have to be convincible with it. Small business who starting a business can have competitors in the same product, so you must state them some good advantages or benefits of your product to them so that they will persuade to buy. Lastly, as a marketer you must be cheerful and energetic in selling your product to attract your potential buyers.

I wish you get some facts and information in our product, and I hope you would come and buy our product this upcoming Foundation Day of our school at Parañaque National Highschool- Main. Future’s Hope

Hello bros ! How’s your day ? Welcome to my new blog !

Today, I will share some different and new topic to you about the video clips I’ve watched recently.

What comes in your mind when you see that picture above ?

“Childrens” right !
Childhood is the most fun and memorable time in anyone’s life. It’s the first stage of life which we enjoy in whatever way we like. Besides, this is the time that shapes up the future.

But what happens if one day they commit a crime ?

Convict or Another chance ?

Summary

The video clips comes from different sources such as news, documentary and music video.

The video clips that we’ve watched is relate about “The Juvenile Justic Law” or “Age of Criminal Liability”, a bill proposing to lower the minimum age of criminal responsibility from 15 years to 12 years. This means that those between with that ages may be detained in youth centers and go through rehabilitation programs.

On the video clips, some group of youths got inside on a jeep and they took out some passenger’s bags and gears. They spit on them and even abuse or hurting the people inside while doing it. Others came from the news, which is an nterview and talking about a topic agreeing of lowering the ages from 9 years old when a child commit some crime.

“BAHAY PAG ASA”

A rehabilitation center where they kept all the children away from crimes , there are some people who took care of them and teaching them the right lessons and good manners.

Another clip was they interview some children detainee in rehabilitation center in cebu who commit some crime, they ask them what’s the reason they was on the center.

These are their answers:

• They where abandoned by their parents because of financial capabilty

• Commit some serious crime such stealing money from other to buy foods

• Left at home and live in strees, become addicted in sniffing solvent

“Isang pagkakataon pa” (music video)

A music video inspired by “The Juvenile Justic Law” or “Age of Criminal Liability”

“Crimes against children are the most heinous crime. That, for me, wouldbe a reason for capital punishment because children are innocent and need the guidance of society” ~ Clint Eastwood

This law has been way too far in some manners, the people who has a power on deciding what this law states will gonna be is on their hands. The parents love and care for their children and the children to the same too. Moreover, it’s the golden period of life in which we can teach children everything. In childhood, one should need to enjoy his/her life without any worry. It is a time in which one should have to take care of his diet, his health, and immunity. Besides, the children should be taught to be neat and clean, to eat, read, sleep, play, and these things should be in the habits of the child.

Review

The video clips was related to my passion or blog by traveling to different places i encountered many streetchildren that abandoned by their parents. As children in young ages, they should be travel and explore their environment, experience new things that they don’t having yet. I think the exposure to new places and new people can be really reviving personally and also eye opening to see how other people live to them . To see how life functions, whether human or natural life, in other places is really humbling. It’s easy to have their status at home, but as soon as you’re in a new place, all bets are off. They can do anything, and are so willing to try new stuff to push their own boundaries purely because you’re in a new place. Travel because not only is it the ultimate adventure but it also exposes them to new types of people, different ways of living, and opens up their mind.

The video clips was related to present issues or problems like especially “poverty” that pushes them to commit a crime such steal money from other people for a reason of personal needs and reason like foods to fill their hungry stomach. Street children, more of them was left at home and live with streets because they were abandoned by their own parents because of financial capability to support them. Maybe they were under by some cindicates and uses them. Treating children as criminals removes obligation from adults who are responsible for safeguarding them. If children who have been exploited by criminal syndicates are penalized instead of the adults who abused them, we fail to fullfil the rights and well-being of children.

The video clips was related to my experiences, thoughts and feelings by when I was a kid I also stealing money from my parents to buy my wants, but my conscience call me. When I grew up and make up my mind, may independence maximize and had my first work on high-school because I’m thinking to help in our financial needs. Iwas felt sad for the kids in the center who abandoned by their family with the same age as mine. Lowering age criminal liability does not solve the real problem and root cause of criminality. Adults will use children lower than the proposed minimum age for criminal liability. Detaining children will not teach them responsibility for their actions. In order to expand their potential to contribute to our country , children must grow up in a caring, nurturing and protective environment. This requires strong parenting support programs and assess to health, education and social services as well as to child-sensitive justice and social welfare systems .The government must address the long-term socio economic issues. They must ensure children grow in an environment free of violence and the rights to development and protection are there. Our government must offer and take actions to this problem in giving vocational lesson and occupations facilities.

The video clips increase my understanding in the topic because it gives a lot of information and now im very familiarize with the topic. Good and intersting topic. Imagine that for one bowl of rice divided it into fifteen person. When raining comes that the time were they have the chance to bath themselves and wash their clothes. Even in the rehabilitation center still there has stealing of clothes happening, they were even not fitted in one room. Im thinking by myself that im very lucky person with my stand in life right now. The children must be seperated from adult’s jail because they might be get abuse by them, the diseases possible to pass it to them. Due to lack of youth care facilities, children will most likely end up in jails where they may be subjected to violence and abuse. Detention should be the last place, not the first and only option. In early age they might think that he was a criminal but actually not.

Yes, i would have a words to recommend this topic to them, because this was very interesting and serious topic to solve to. By sharing this blog could be change their perspective and help to workout a pettion to the issue. Criminal punishments can harm children, damaging their future perception at school or at work. Another, the current conditions in the Philippine penal and corrective system are already exposed, child corrective facilities and jails are some of the most overcrowded in the world and some children are placed in jails with adults, neither are the best environment within which to support children’s development and social integration.

So to sum up, I DO NOT AGREE WITH LOWERING THE AGE OF CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY. just how important the minimum age of criminal responsibility is not forcing the children to grow up, and being able to giving them “SECOND CHANCE TO CHANGE” and have a real childhood. We should be able to educate them about right or wrong before we put them in jail without knowing the consequences for their actions. Punish the crime syndicates who take advantage of children, not the children who need to be rescued, supported, and rehabilitated. Push for the full and effective implementation of the law so that both children who commit crimes and their victims are assisted and supported.

Living Well Spending Less

Hello bros ! Welcome to my new blog !

For this day, I will share to you the article that I’ve read as still connected to our topic which is traveling.

Guess what ? BUDGETING !

Budgeting is the process of creating a plan to spend your money. This spending plan is called a budget. Creating this spending plan allows you to determine in advance whether you will have enough money to do the things you need to do or would like to do. Budgeting is simply balancing your expenses with your income.

Summary

The authors or writers of the article are Megan Matteo and Leslie James. The title was Six Fun Saving and Budgeting Activites for High School Students, the website where you can find it was at http://www.weareteachers.com, the publication date was on June 04, 2019.

The article was about helping tips for high school students in saving and budgeting their money. Even the highest- performing students can struggle with basic financial literacy tasks like busgeting and saving. Finding ways to connect financial literacy with the things that are important to students.

1. Creating a buying plan

Have students make a list of up to 10 items they’d like to buy.

These items can range in price, but encourage students to think as big as they like. From this exercise, ask students to explain why they chose these items and to answer some guiding questions. Help them decide, based on whether they have a job, receive an allowance, or have a savings account, how they’ll make the purchase and help them tailor each plan to their situation.

2. Walk in someone else’s shoes for a week
Ask students to estimate how much they think an average person spends in one week.

Using data from news articles and sources, have students create and manage a budget with this worksheet. Do they have enough money to cover their obligations and stick to their budget? Students can tally every expense a particular person may have on any given day (including the small ones that are easy to forget).

3. Get them invested in making their money grow.
Tell students they are going to begin saving in an account with compounding interest.

Students pick cards to determine their account’s compound interest rate. At first, the idea might seem basic—people with cards that have higher interest rates may earn more over time. But activate your students’ critical thinking skills by having them predict the difference between their returns on their savings and their peers’.

4. Help them understand how needs and wants have changed.
A photo slideshow can show how humankind’s lifestyles have changed over time.

Have students predict what the needs of the future will be, then show them artifacts from history and contemporary times to sort into needs or wants piles. Reflecting on needs versus wants is an important way to sharpen students’ executive functioning and help them build the power of metacognition—considering their thoughts, habits, and choices.

5. Show them that saving should be a priority.
It is important for students to practice paying themselves first.

Let every school day represent one year and after six weeks graph savings accounts as a class to see how much everyone earned by paying themselves first. Then, teach students how to calculate their total savings into monthly amounts and compare their monthly savings budget with their monthly budget.

6. Build the power of positive belief.
Inspiration goes a long way: read articles to students, show them YouTube videos, and bring in speakers who have either turned their financial health around or earned wealth with good habits to speak to your class.

“What would you do with one million dollars?” and then give them time to reflect, journal, or create and share a vision board. Hold one-on-one or smaller group sessions with students to help them devise individualized plans.

“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.”

~Dave Ramsey

Since budgeting allows you to create a spending plan for your money, it ensures that you will always have enough money for the things you need and the things that are important to you. Following a budget or spending plan will also keep you out of debt or help you work your way out of debt if you are currently in debt. With a little empathy, time, and positive thinking, you can teach your students how to build budgeting and savings habits that work for them.

The article was related to my passion or blog by creating travel budget will help you make a more realistic travel plan. If you are just saving for a trip, a travel budget will act as a guide to set a realistic savings goal. And, if you’re ready to take off, a travel budget will help you make the best spending choices on the go. By setting a good budget, we have a better idea of how much money we will need for our trips, have a plan of where our money will be spent and finally, look for areas that we can improve our spending habits in order to maximize our hard earned money. For some people budgeting is a way to get excited about a trip. They use it as the first step in the planning and a way to get themselves psyched up about a destination. A strong, comfortable backpack is the traveller’s linchpin, and it’s worth shelling out for a good-quality model . An equally important investment is a pair of decent shoes chances are you’ll be spending a lot of time on your feet, so making sure your footwear is comfortable, durable and is suited to your needs is essential.

The article is related to present issues or problems especially to the families or persons who have financial problems in terms budgeting their money because of the shortage and many expenses they experience. When it comes to saving on experiences, make it all about the activity rather than the souvenirs. When you go somewhere in the zoo, in park, or mall ,make the most of the experience, but set a budget beforehand. Bring ONLY the cash you can afford to spend on the trip, take pictures, and go for having fun rather than trying to bring the fun home with you. Gear is another sizable purchase. Travellers, especially first-timers, often over-invest in specialised travel gear, but prioritising is the key to saving money while still making a success of life on the road.

My high school years involved a lot of growing up and increased independence. Growing up I had mixed feelings about the concept of money not sure whether it was good or evil, helpful or destructive. I even wrote in my primary school graduation yearbook that I if I could change anything in the world I would make it so that there was no such thing as money. Being able to go out by myself and buy my own things started to put a thing or two into perspective. I slowly began to gain a sense of how much things cost and how to establish a bargain from a rip-off. These practical lessons were accompanied by business and economics classes at school which taught me theories regarding why certain things cost more than others (supply and demand). Since I was quite competitive with friends, I came jealous every time they save up enough money to buy a their things.

My first jobs (side jobs when summer) taught me the value of money; that it is something that needs to be worked hard for. I became more protective of my money because it was something I had earnt through hours of effort. For example, I was less willing to buy a pair of shoes that i want that cost as much as I had earnt through a whole days of work. I began to develop budgeting techniques to help me save for the things I really wanted. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my future financial goals. I fantasize about buying a house and living a comfortable lifestyle free of financial worries, now and forever. Surely that can be achieved somehow. Realistically, I dont think life is meant to be as easy as that. But if we are smart enough about how we manage our money and spending, we can make things easier for ourselves.

Of course yes, I will recommend it to others because this will be very helpful to them, especially creating a efficient budget plan hopely earn more savings they make in budgets that can be use in situations if they will needed it.Checking on your budget each day can help you to monitor it and keep you from overspending. Making decisions at the beginning of the month makes it easier to manage your money.

To sum it up, If you feel like you are not in control of your money and you are constantly wondering where it went and what happened to it, budgeting can put you in control. It allows you to prioritize your spending, track how you are doing and realize when you need to stop. It puts a solid plan into place that is easy to flow and gives you the chance to plan and prepare for the future. It is the biggest tool you have to change your financial future, and it gives us the power to make changes starting today.

From our activity last time which is creating a budget plan, I learned that their chosen items have in common and have differences in terms of model, price and branding. I chose thise items because i want it , gives me happiness and can help boost up myself and help in other things when the time i will be needing it. I know you can’t get now in your hands but you work hard for it. By sarifices you time, money and energy.

Introduction

“TAKE ONLY MEMORIES, LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS” Hi bros ! Welcome to my travel blog ! I am a 17 year old boy who loves to travel and explore places. my name is Julius Gellegani and im a Grade 11 ABM student, half-indian half-filipino. I love into discover different and unique locations. I want to share some of my experiences and bring you to another world. I have a lots of areas that i already visited in local and foreign. You will be expecting some kind of expeditions like you where in my world by reading my blogs. ENJOY AND BE WITH MY WORLD 😉

The Living Explorer

The thing that I am very passionate about was to travel. Since I was a kid I had many explorations and experiences. Some of it was good or a little bit ok, but most of it was worth. Being a traveler person makes you learn a lot through things you experience, even though i feel tired after them. My family also loves to travel so that why, I like it or I am very passionate with this. In local, I have visited many beautiful places like baguio, aklan, tarlac, bulacan and some more. Luckily, when I was nine years old I have given a chance to go in hongkong and macau. That was a the most memorable experience to me, to go and visit some place outside our country. Where my mother was working as a domestic helper together with my auntie, she also share her experience in there and the places she had discovered. She tells me the stories and information behind the tourist spots, like why is that building structures’ look like that ?. I’ve seen massive and different designs of building there, their country was very strict in terms of trashes and their technology was advance, even though it is a small. I manage also to go in Disneyland and Ocean park, it has many interesting rides, and souveiners are quite expensive. I can’t imagine that living in a dream will happen for real. My eyes acan’t take too much sightings. Also, traveling to macau is very intense like riding in a vehicle called “turbo”, that was very fast though from the name itself. Bonding with your family in a vacation make pull together. Someday, i hope I can travel some new areas around the globe outside of my place and go back to the location i already visited when i have my work and also my future family. I want my future kids to experience also the expeditions that I’ve been through. To discover and explore the different beliefs, culture, food, tourist attractions of other countries.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
